Hi All, First post here, thanks for a great forum,I have a brand new Yaesu Vx-6 that I cannot get to program using the ($30) RT software, Chirp, or Commander. I believe the USB-converter is correct (USB 57B), as all programs respond to the initial BAND press when ready. After that it hangs up.(Just FYI, once in CLONE mode, Yaesu initiates the transfer by pressing BAND.)Using Commander, it shows the first data string - which (according to an ancient post) may have ID conflicts, if anyone knows anything about that.In the mean time I have tried various drivers, comm ports, plug-wiggling/jiggling, etc.also a hard reset on the radio. That's why I suspect something more subtle.Anyone have experience with this? Appreciate the forum, thanks!73,Craig.
